You have just one day left to donate your used LP's, cassettes, reel to reel, VHS, Beta etc to Capital Public radio for their annual Media Sale event.

Last year KXPR/KXJZ collected 70,000 items including vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, laser discs, cassettes, reel-to-reel, 8 tracks, VHS, and even Beta. This year, we also expect to feature books-on-tape and video games!

When the weekend sale was over, we had taken in an astonishing amount of money that went directly toward supporting the on-air activities of the news, jazz and classical stations of Capital Public Radio. Restock your shelves for pennies on the dollar and benefit your local public radio stations!

Sale takes place June 27th and 28th in Sacramento.

I'll have my car loaded and I'll drive up tomorrow June 20th is the last day for donations. Or there is always next year . . .

KXPR KXJZ Capitol Public Radio Sacramento, CA is having it's annual MUSIC SALE.



Drop Off dates for the Record Sale this year are Wednesday, May 19 through Wednesday, June 9. Collection sites are all over the greater Bay Area. I was able to drop mine in Vacaville but there were sites in Stockton, Lake Tahoe and all points in that region. Check out their website for collection locations or contact dennis@dennisnewhall.com


The Record Sale Event dates are June 25: Preview Party 6pm – 9 pm

SALE June 26 & June 27, 10am TO 5pm.



I dropped off 9 cartons of stuff and it was gladly accepted. They sold every laserdisc they took in!
