Wagner's 202nd Birthday was celebrated at the Adeline Firehouse Arts Hangar in Berkeley, CA. There the Awesome Orchestra played the music of Wagner, Hector Berlioz and Howard Shore for a packed audience of Wagnerians, Awesome Orchestra fans and casual passersby. The artwork of Cal Pedranti was on display and to top off the event, Little Red Riding Truck provided authentic Bavarian food. An Awesome event in all respects. Thank you to Uta Wagner, Eiko Kikawada, Joan Lam, Bunny Laden, Klaus Krause and Andy Rombakis for photos of the event.

Yes - The Wagner Society of Northern California was pleased to obtain tickets for Bayreuth Festspiele 2012. Attendees were unsure if construction prevented access to the grave. True to WSNC principles, members of the flower brigade resolved to do their best to place the flowers "no matter what" obstacles stood in the way! It turns out that public access to the grave was not restricted.
