University Symphony Orchestra, Feb 12-13, 8pm, Hertz Hall
One problem: you can just show up and get tickets at the door, but they only take cash $15 at the door.
as a bonus: Prokofiev sym #6, Brahms Tragic overture
Did not even know that UC had a student orchestra? The past few years, I have enjoyed symphonies of Bruckner, Mahler, Beethoven, Sibelius, Shostakovich violin concerto, all performed with skillful aplomb.
