Wagner in The World

According to Sandra Molyneaux, who attended the Ohio Wagner Seminar November 2009, Saul Lilienstein’s talk on Wagner’s Orchestration . . . . ” I’d say three hours minimum — that includes an introduction, break, and both lectures.” We’ll hold Q & A to the end so that those who wish to leave can move on to the rest of their days’ agenda.

YOU MIGHT WANT TO BRING A PIECE OF PAPER TO JOT YOUR NOTES (OR NOT)

The Professor will be using ample musical quotations and also some visual cues to work his way through Wagner’s vast score. We’re Wagnerians – we know it’s long! There will be a break, time enough to have a comfort break, grab a snack, stretch your legs, etc. Please remember, JCC asks that there are no food or beverages in the meeting rooms – only plain, clear water.

We’re confident it will be well worth your while . . . . .
